Many Chinese kids will buy shirts with English writing on them just because they are cool, but they don’t really know what it says, lol. We don’t tell them. We just take pictures and laugh.
This country was not made for tall people.

This is the picture of the stairs we had to climb up the mountain. The picture does not show just how steep the stairs were!
Mountain climbing is a very popular sport in Yangshuo.
I am really proud of this picture. I was just trying to get the little mountain in between the big mountains and the light post. I didn’t realize just how amazing it came out until later.

I thought this was a very pretty scene. Many people seem to think that the Chinese don’t like or value children because of the one-child policy. But it is actually the opposite. Children are very important to the Chinese and everywhere we have gone we have seen little carnivals, playgrounds, and balloon vendors for them.
